My 1000th Cold
Sissy got a cold this week and wouldn't you know it, yesterday I showed signs of a cold. It is just a runny nose so nothing too alarming.
I'm doing great these days. Mom and dad have been noticing how tall I am. They always knew I was on the tall side, but when they pick me up from school they've noticed I tower over all the kids my age. I'm pretty skinny too, which is mostly due to the fact that I am the pickiest eater ever.

There are very few pictures of me on this blog because I hate to get my picture taken. Here I am again protesting.
Other than that, I love my sissy and when I see her in a picture I point to her and say, "There's Skyebird." Mom and dad call her Skyebird as a nick name. Whatever.
I also got a new toothbrush because my dentist recommended a sonicare for my teeth. But we did much better and bought the Oral B Triumph. Mom highly recommends it to anyone with little kids.

Oh and I saved the best for last...I can read. The other night mom was putting me to bed and as she started to read my stack of books I said, "No, let me read the book." Side note, I am doing great putting sentences together. Anyhow, she handed me my Mickey mouse book and I read it word for word. I really amazed her because she kept saying how wonderful that was and was cheering me on. Apparently she went downstairs to tell dad the good news and he looked at her and said, "He has been doing that for weeks and he has just memorized the pages." Mom doesn't buy it though. She says I can read. Aren't moms great?

Nanny Time
Mom went back to work today, but all that meant for Skye and I was more time with nan. In fact, I get to spend the entire day tomorrow with her too. Yippee!! But now that mom is a little busier I have more responsibilities like feeding Skye.
It's worth losing some of my free time though just to see her smile.

I have been very busy riding my new bike everywhere. Yesterday dad took me around the block for a stroll. Boy was it fun.
Today when mom and dad got home from school we played and played, but then sometimes I decided I didn't want to play anymore and would leave the room. One time dad and I were playing basketball and I said "No more basketball." And then daddy got really sad and went and laid on the couch. I went over to him, rubbed his back and said, "I'm sorry daddy, it's okay we can play basketball." Too cute I know.
Then tonight mom let me watch "Nemo" and when she came to check on me I said, "I want popcorn." She thought that was pretty cute since the only time I get popcorn is when we go to the movies.
