"Rogan...Get down."

The other day I was playing in the dining room and all of sudden I got really quiet. So mom went to check on me, only to find me crawling along the bench in the dining room. I figured out that if I held onto the window seal and pulled I could get up. Smart, huh?

It is so much fun, especially because I know I am not supposed to do it. After I pull myself up, I turn around and let my feet dangle like a big boy. Then, I crawl along it and lately I started to stand up and walk. Mom and dad are not too pleased with me. But...they can't stop me! Sometimes I can even get up on the furniture and then I run back and forth or try to climb off of the
side of it. They really don't like that either.

F.Y.I. I turned 19 months old the other day. I'm pretty tall and I still LOVE to play outside.

BUT, mommy still loves me!

Lately...

Lately life has been pretty great. I'm pretty stable on my feet so walking is a cinch. In fact, when I get to the park I run and when I'm chasing “DD" (River) I run even harder.

Mom, dad and I go to the park almost every day. Before bed, if it is nice out, we go on a bike ride. Most times I really enjoy it, but there are those rare times where I decide I'm "all done" and want my helmet off and out of the seat. So...mom and dad pedal really fast.

I'm almost like all of the big kids at the park now. This weekend, to mom and dad's amazement I climbed all the way up this curved ladder and with NO HELP. They didn't think I could do it. I still love to hang on the monkey bars. I instantly chuckle. Going down the slide is a blast too. After a while we continue on with our walk and I either get in the stroller or walk beside for a little while until mom puts me in.

At home, I love to say "ouussside." It is so fun to play in the backyard. I jump in my pool, minus the water--too cold. It is so much fun. I will then flip my pool over and literally dive on top of it. Then, I throw the ball for DD or sweep the back steps.

This Saturday UW was playing so dad and I both wore our UW apparel. As you can see I LOVE to be on dad's shoulders. I'm usually good for a quick cry though when dad takes me down, but I soon get over it when I realize I get to play outside.
