"Hi Momma."

Yesterday when mom came into the living room I decided to welcome her by saying, "Hi momma." She was quite pleased. I also say, "Hi DD," a.k.a. River, but no "Hi daddy" yet.

For a while now I have been telling mom or dad when I go poop. I just say, "poop.," it is usually after the fact I also hide behind things, such as the piano or recliner when I am going potty. So...mommy thought she would introduce me to the toilet, a.k.a. potty. She tried yesterday morning, but I decided to wait until she put my diaper back on to go. Today she gave it another shot and what do you know...I went poop. Is this too much information? Well, mom was really excited and she heard that you are supposed to reward your child when they do that so she gave me a chocolate chip. I don't like sweets so I just spit it out, but I did enjoy all the praise I got.

Smile for Mommy

At 22 months old I am still a huge snuggle bug, which mommy and daddy love of course. One of my favorite things to do when I am feeling snuggly is have mom and dad cover me up with a blanket. Since I was a baby, and after bath time, I loved to have a towel or blanket draped over me.

Since getting my Elmo chair, I love to sit and read in it. Yesterday I sat down with a book and started reading away. It was quite cute. Mom caught me doing this one time at daycare too. I just turn the pages and babble as I look at them.

More presents!

Yesterday Grandpa Daniels came over and gave me some Christmas gifts. I think I officially have every big boy truck the stores offer and I love it! Once mom got them out of the box I immediately began pushing them around the house. I also opened just about all my gifts.
