Just Like Daddy

Just about everyday I play the piano with daddy. In fact, now that I am a big boy I get to sit on the stool by myself and press the keys. As you can see I already have great fingering. Thanks dad!

Hugs and Kisses

I have always been a cuddly boy, but lately I really enjoy giving people hugs and kisses. I will open my arms up wide and then say "hug." I go from person to person and give them a hug.

But just as often as I give hugs I give big, wet kisses. But they are not just your typical peck on the lips. I like to grab each side of your face with my hands, pull your face into my mine and give you a kiss. OR I will give you an eskimo kiss. In fact, you don't even have to ask for a kiss, sometimes I just lean in, grab your face and plant one on you.

My 2nd Christmas

Christmas was sure fun this year. I got a lot of gifts that mom and dad mainly opened for me. I can’t say I have a favorite, but I play with the following equally…my Elmo tool bunch, a dump truck, aqua doodle and the zebra flash light. I also say, “DD” every time I see the picture of a dog my Aunt Chris painted for me.

This is how I play with each of my new toys…for the Elmo tool bench I throw everything off of it, for my dumb truck I get in it and mom and dad push me around of I push it around, I draw on my aqua doodle, but more often than not I try to draw on the window, floor, couch, books, etc. Mom and dad let mealy which really confuses me because any other time they say, “Only draw on the paper Rogan.” Maybe it has something to do with the word “aqua?”

Another gift I LOVE is a small set of books my friend’s Jay and Kate got for me. I love the farm book in particular. Mom and dad got me a “Wiggles” book with a walkie-talkie like phone that pla ys all their songs. I really enjoy it, but for some reason I always get the urge to throw it so I don’t see it very often.

My nana, besides getting me the Elmo tool Bench, bought me an Elmo chair. At first I wasn't too sure of it, but after sitting in it a few times I found it is quite fun. Elmo giggles when you sit down. BUT it is even more fun to flip the chair over
and fall out.

Charlotte's Web

Today mom took me to my first feature film, Charlotte's Web. Dad thought mom was crazy for taking me and that I we would be back in 20 minutes, BUT I sat through the entire movie and loved it. Some might say it was my first "chaperoned" date because Rylee and her mom were there too. Rylee and I sat next to each other and every so often we would grab hands and then give each other a kiss. Rylee also shared her popcorn with me, hmmmm! I love popcorn. After the movie, which I again I sat all the way through, I gave Rylee a kiss and a hug goodbye.

Making Holiday Cookies with Mom

On Sunday I got to make cookies with mom. It was my first time ever baking and I did great! I was in charge of the rolling pin and when it got sticky I pointed to the white stuff, flour and mom sprinkled more on for me. Then, mom would put a cookie cutter on the dough and with both hands I would push down.

Later on in the day I tried to fit into the leggo bucket like I do the laudry basket and I got stuck. I looked to mom for help, but she was too busy laughing so I decided to tip myself over and what do you know...I got out!

Also, I have picked up a couple more words, head, ear and mine.

Breakfast with Santa Claus

This morning mom took me to have breakfast with Santa. I didn't even know that was possible. We, mom, Rylee and Megan, all sat at a big table and had breakfast. Then, we walked around to look at all the pretty decorated trees and stopped near those that had fun activities for kids like me. One booth both Rylee and I loved was the doctor station. Everyone brought a bear and then they got to fix its wounds. Below I am taking Rylee's bear's temperature. It was a blast

.

When it came time to sit on Santa's lap I wasn't too pleased so mom sat next to me. Thanks mom, you are the best!

Mom said I was terrific the entire time. We were there for 2 ½ hours. After a while I found an empty room that Rylee and I could run around in. Then, we went back inside because Mrs. Claus was going to read “The Night Before Christmas.” Believe it or not, mom just read that story to me last night. So, all of kids and some parents, like mommy and Megan, all sat down to listen to the story be read. I was really good, but as I was sitting on mom’s lap I happened to notice there were a lot of pretty girls around. So, in front of everyone I stood up, turned around and began flirting with them. I waved, and smiled a big cheesy smile and they waved and smiled back. They all melted. Then, I patted the backs of those kids around me and stroked a girl’s pretty long hair. They were all a lot older than me, probably 4 or older so they thought I was just the cutest thing around. I had to agree.
