Uncle Jason

I love my uncle Jason. No one else plays with me as long as he does. He will chase me around the house for as long as I want. We also played baseball together on his recent trip to Longview. At night I would ask for Jason and Jill to come see me because I missed them. Aunt Jill was a sweetheart. She chased me too and would hide like Jason, but wouldn't scare me like he does. Although I prefer to be scared by uncle Jason because it makes me scream really loud and well that is always fun. Here I am at more of my swim classes. I really enjoyed it.

Being silly with my new friend.
Kick, kick, kick
With these floaters I get to kick around on my own.
Cookie time with nan! Yum, yum.

"Won't my mama be so proud of me?"

I learned a knew song at school, one of many, and one night mom was sitting with me watching my dinosaur movie and I started singing her the song. When I got to the verse "Won't my mama be so proud of me?" She gave me a big hug and kiss and told me she was very proud of me. Now she makes me sing the song daily.
She is also proud of me because I can climb up the ladders at the playground. When I get to the top I say, "I did it!" And mom gives me a high five. Then, I go down the slide.

Today I went to the dentist. This was my 3rd visit and normally I do quite well. But, mom wasn't so sure this time because I had just been to the doctor previously (they had to take wax out of ear and I made sure everyone 4 blocks down heard my protest) and the fact that other people were in there getting worked on and I couldn't stop staring at them was another sign. Mom noticed I kept getting redder and then said, "I want to go home." I then broke into a sweat and started climbing out of the seat. Know one had even touched me yet. My dentist is super nice though. He didn't do anything but put a mirror in my mouth and he told mom I will most likely not get cavities because I produce so much saliva. So all those years (2) of wearing bibs was worth it for no cavities.

3 Years Old

Happy Birthday to me! I am 3. And I had the best birthday party. The theme was Mickey Mouse, though I didn't seem him around. Huh, I will have to talk to Walt about that.
I got a ton of gifts and they are all my favorites. people know me really well. i got uppets, and easel, stuff for swimming, musical instruments, art supplies, balls to play outside with, many new books and I'm sure much more. Thank you everyone for making my day so special. I love you all!

Some of the cards I received had money in them for my piggy bank. I really liked that, but I didn't quite understand why they all didn't have money in them. So disappointing. :-)
And of course, I had a ton of balloons. My favorites. Grandpa Daniels had a dozen delivered for me because he remembered I requested 12 red balloons and 1 Mickey mouse balloon. It was fun answering the door to accept them. I even read the card, "Happy Birthday Rogan, you birthday is coming soon." At least that was my interpretation of it.
I played this saxophone nonstop the entire party. I love it.
Alright so what is a 3 year old up to, well...I love music and I have a great baseball swing. Mom or dad toss the ball and I give it a good whack. I am looking forward to this summer when I can go to the park everyday, attend swimming lessons and playing sports outside. Hurry sun., get here soon.
Isn't family the best?

Fruit!

I really enjoy certain kinds of fruit...oranges, bananas, apples and strawberries when they are in season. Recently I have been devouring oranges, but just their juices, not the actual orange. When satsumas are in season and mom cuts them up for me, I will eat the whole thing. After I suck out the juices, I line them up like a "piano."
I also enjoy bananas. I do not like it when the banana breaks though. If it does I do not eat and instead feed it to river. She seems to not mind.
Here is me eating my other favorite food, peanut butter on crackers. I had just been outside and my clothes got dirty so mom took them off. She must have forgotten to put new clothes on me and I was a little cold so I took the towel I was using to wipe the peanut butter off on and used it as a blanket.

To Nana's House I Go

I love staying with my nan. On our way to her house we usually pick up a turkey sandwich, my favorite and then we play with the toys she has, such as golf, play doh, trucks, etc. It is a lot of fun. Then I get to take a bath and last we cuddle up to watch a short movie. Because I don't sleep in a crib anymore I get to sleep in a bed. I prefer nan's bed even though I have my very own there. I also make nanny go to bed when I do. She is very sweet to comply.

I never get upset when I leave mom and dad. I put my backpack on, grab nanny's hand and say, "Bye mom and dad, I love you."

Rumor has it, gamma wants my cousin and Ava and I spend the night so I hope I get to that soon. It will be so much fun. I am very lucky to have such caring grandparents.

Valentine's Day

I sure am loving the word "present." I have no idea why I get them, but I will take them. The only hard part is, I can never understand why I can't get them on demand. Why does it have to stop?
I helped sissy open up some of her gifts, but she did a pretty good job herself. Mom got me some books that are neat. They squeak, yippee! And aunt Chris gave me a cool truck. I have a lot of race cars, but no race trucks. Thank you. And last time Grandpa Daniels was here he saw how much I enjoyed putting money in my piggy bank and he sent me plenty to put in there. Thank you. I also got cards from GG and Gamma. And nanny bought me a cool Little Einstein DVD both for Valentine's day and because I went #2 on the potty. That is a another blog entry though.
Oh and at school today, I gave out Spiderman Valentine's with granola bars. I came home with a sack full of Valentine's from all my friends and sissy too.

Also, the other day dad was a little tired so I went up asked if I could lie down with him.
